KAM beats London prices to save Mr M hundreds

Hello faithful readers, this week has been another hectic week at KAM as we welcome more and more of your cars into our workshops. The boys at KAM have been taking on your request for the ‘holiday checks’ I recommended last week. Remember if you are going away in your car make sure to bring your car into KAM so we can keep you and your family safe. We will check all levels, tyres and brakes and you can have a fun filled holiday with no risk of breaking down. Another thing to consider in this erratic weather is the air conditioning and we here at KAM are offering free air conditioning checks so make sure to come down and take advantage of our great prices.

Now not only was last week busy for the KAM team but it has also been a busy week for Nottingham and Derby with the arrival of the Olympic torch. We have had the privilege of seeing some of Nottingham and Derby’s finest proudly represent our area by brandishing the historic flame. We here at KAM were lucky enough to see the runners and we had a great time cheering everyone on and experiencing the air of patriotism. With the Jubilee and now the Olympics we have been able to celebrate a lot this year and there is hopefully more to come with Andy Murray at Wimbledon, could this be his year?

Now back to this week’s adventure it was Friday when we received a visit from Mr M who coincidentally arrived at our Beeston depot in yet another van. Here at Beeston we have seen an influx of van drivers recently and we welcome them all as we help to get our loyal customers back on the road. If you have a van that is in need of repair bring it down to KAM and we will get you back on the road in no time.

On this particular day Mr M arrived in his Vauxhall Vivaro van and had come quite a long way to test the KAM boy’s services. “Hello Kev I have heard nothing but great things about you boys from my parents and they said I would not be sorry.” Mr M was from London and had been having problems with his van recently. He was a self-employed electrician and was back In Nottingham for the weekend to see his parents. It was on his father’s advice that he had bought his van down so that the KAM team could help him out. “Kev I have been told that the air conditioning condenser need replacing as well as new cam belts and apparently the water pump needs changing.” This was a scenario that the KAM team are used to. When another garage says that work needs to be done it usually means that they want to extract more money from you. Here at KAM we do the correct testing and only undertake the necessary work. Mr M also added: “Kev I have been quoted over £1500 for the work and I just think even for London that is extortionate. I also need the van back for Sunday please say you can help.”

We assured Mr M that we would find and fix any faults that lay within his car and that we would do it a price that he would be happy with. We were also shocked at the estimated price as it seemed very high for the parts needed.  He was then whisked away in one of our courtesy cars and we had a deadline so we got straight to work.

Diagnostic Dan got to work and started to rigorously test the van to see where the problems lay. After a short while the infamous words rang out “I’ve got it Kev.” it was clear that the diagnosis had been correct and that we would need to replace the air conditioning condenser, replace the cam belt and the water pump would need to be changed. However we were certain that it would not cost £1500.

Dan called up our fantastic suppliers and the parts arrived promptly and Dan used his military style precision to ensure that the van was put back together properly. “We did it Kev. This car is in perfect condition, and at a fraction of the cost he’d been quoted.”

Mr M arrived later and was ecstatic to have his van back in such a short amount of time and was even happier at the price of the repairs. “Wow Kev I am so glad I decided to come to the KAM team. You are kings among men and I can’t believe your repairs were nearly half the price I was quoted. I’ll definitely be back.”

You can leave your comments, questions and queries at www.twitter.com/dr_kev and on our blog at www.drkev-kam.blogspot.com and our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/kamservicing.   Remember faithful reader, our team of dedicated and hard working staff at the branches in Sutton, Long Eaton, Bulwell, Beeston and Belper along with our bodywork shop are open every day of the week, EXCLUDING Sunday’s, while the lads at our Sawley and Heanor workshops are at your service seven days a week, keeping your car where it belongs. ON THE ROAD.

So until next week faithful reader, drive safely and keep it shiny side up.

Mr M- At Her Majesty's Service

Hello faithful readers, the KAM team have been very busy this week as more and more of you come in to get your gremlins seen to. Our boys at Beeston are doing well and are continuing to expand and see more loyal customers joining the ranks. Last week was a great week for Nottingham as we had the visit from her royal highness the Queen and the Duchess of Cambridge along with Prince William. This was particularly exciting, as you know me; Mandy and the kids are quite the royalists.
When we found out that the queen would be coming the house was awash with all those important questions. “Where will she be visiting? How long will she stay? What will Kate be wearing?” It was great to see just how these events make people come together and Mandy and the kids went down and were able to see the Royals up close and personal. They had a great day filled with great memories.
Now not to harp on too long about the royal family but this week’s story comes just mere days before the royal visit. On Monday morning we received a call from Mr M who was in quite the panic. He called up our Beeston depot and was in desperate need of the KAM team’s help.
“Kev I don’t know what has happened. I thought it was okay and now well this is just awful. What am I going to do? I really need this?” Mr M was so panicked that at first he made little sense. But after calming down he revealed that he was a self employed cleaner and had recently taken on a very important task. “Kev you know the queen is coming on Wednesday? Well I have just had a contract to clean up some graffiti around the areas she will be visiting. I know we all want Nottingham to be able to shine, well that just became a little more difficult.” Mr M explained that he had recently gotten the contract to clean our streets and had been delighted to be able to do his service for the queen. But there was one obstacle as he was now stuck with a lifeless Ford Transit van, which housed all his cleaning equipment. “Kev it won’t start, I have tried a hundred times.  Please say you can help. For Queen and country.”  Mr M needed his van back for the next day as he would need his massive industrial cleaner to be able to carry out his work. It was a race against time and we would have to come to Mr M’s aid.
Big Job Ben loaded up the ‘twuck wid da fwashin lights’ and set off to rescue Mr M and his van. A short while later he arrived back at the depot with a lifeless van and a deflated Mr M. We explained to Mr M that we would find and fix any fault and that he would be back to keeping our streets clean in no time. After all the details were taken and Mr M was whisked away in a courtesy car, we got straight to work.
Mr M needed the van back as soon as possible and so we would need to be swift and efficient. Ben put himself forward and armed with his tools he started by checking around the car for any visible faults. This proved fruitless and so Ben did a number of checks. He checked the fuel pressure, the electrics and finally plugged the car into one of our state of the art diagnostic machines. It was not long until the infamous words rang our. “I’ve got it Kev.”
It so transpired that the gremlin besieging Mr M’s car was due to the wiring to the main fuel lift pump having been burnt away. This had been due to general wear and tear and had been the reason for the car’s not starting. Thankfully this week’s mystery had been an easy one for the KAM team and all that was required was to repair the wiring, which Ben did with military style precision.
Once the wiring was fixed then came the moment of truth, Ben got behind the wheel of the van and the boys waited with anticipation. The key was turned and… the car jolted back to life with rapturous applause from the boys. “We did it Kev.” Shouted Ben. The car was fixed and Mr M would be able to show off his handy work to the Queen-another victory for queen and country.
Mr M arrived later and was ecstatic to have his van back in working order. “Thanks Kev, it really was the KAM team to the rescue. You know while the Queen is here you should ask for a knighthood for your services to the motoring industry.” He joked. “Sir Kev”, I like the sound of that.

Mr B's Vivaro Vex

I hope everyone enjoyed the fantastic Jubilee celebrations. I had a great bank holiday reprieve from all the gremlin hunting and the boys were able to relax and recharge. The Jubilee concert was fantastic and a great way to showcase all that is great about our country. A sea of patriotism was evident and Mandy, the kids and myself had a great time at a street party with all of our neighbours.

Now while we were all celebrating the KAM boys at our Sawley and Heanor depots were hard at work defeating those pesky gremlins. So dedicated is your KAM team that we opened our shutters to our faithful customers at all depots on Jubilee Tuesday.

While everybody was enjoying the festivities our newly assembled Beeston team were taking on the Jubilee jams.  Our Beeston depot has been seeing more and more customers arriving at the garage and trusting us to fix their cars. Super Sunny has been manning the ship and accompanied by the healing powers of ‘Big Job Ben’, ‘Fearless Frank’, Tornado Tyler’ and ‘Diagnostic Dan’, they have become a KAM force to be reckoned with.

It was on Jubilee Tuesday that we received a visit from Mr B. Now this was not a normal entrance as Mr B arrived not in his car but as the passenger in a recovery truck. As the van, a Vauxhall Vivaro was unloaded Mr B entered the Beeston reception and looked deflated as he explained his van’s conundrum. “Kev you have to help me, my van is suffering from some major problems.” Now this was a bank holiday and most garages were shut but Mr B had seen us on Google and had decided to try us out. Mr B had been on his way from a supply store and his car had inexplicably broken down.

But there was more to this tale of woe. “Kev I am a self employed painter and I know you can understand how hard it can be to find business and keep afloat. I have a big job booked in for this afternoon and I must have my van back. I have read you are the best. Please say you can help.” Mr B was in desperate need of our help and we could not let him down. After all the details were taken we whisked Mr B of in one of our courtesy cars with a promise that he would not miss out on his job later. We were, on this particular day very busy as many customers had taken advantage of our Jubilee opening. But here at KAM we never leave a man behind and so I scoured the workshop for this week’s mystery solver.

My eyes fell on Diagnostic Dan who had just finished with his first mystery of the day. “I’ll take it Kev.” He replied throwing down the gauntlet. As we were working to a fast approaching deadline Dan got straight to work. He hooked the car up to one of our state of the art diagnostic machines and awaited the results. A short while later the results were released and they showed that there was no fuel coming to the injection rail. This would be the reason for the car breaking down but what was the cause of this problem? Dan also checked the fuel pressure pumps and it was revealed that there was no signals going to them either and so Dan would need to dig a little deeper. Conscious of the time, Dan then got to work, looking over the car, making sure to leave no stone unturned in his quest for the truth.

I started to get worried after some time lapsed. Would the van be ready in time? We were cutting it close but finally after a short while the infamous words rang out.” It so transpired that the wiring above the fuel tank had shorted out, which was good news as Dan could easily fix it. However the second fault was found in a faulty pressure regulator valve and this part would be near impossible to source on a bank holiday as our fantastic suppliers were shut.

We pondered the conundrum, we could not let Mr B down and so we would need a solution and then it came to Dan. “Kev we have the KAM Vauxhall Vivaro in Long Eaton, we could take the valve out of there and temporarily use it to fix Mr B’s van and then replace Mr B’s valve tomorrow when the suppliers are open.” It would certainly mean that Mr B could make his job and he would not lose out on any money. So we called to ask him if this was okay.
After he gave the green light Dan made his way to Long Eaton and picked up the necessary part for the Vivaro. He arrived later and fitted it and after the wiring was fixed the van was ready to go.

Mr B came back later to pick the car up and was ecstatic to have a fully functioning car. “Wow Kev you have really gone above and beyond the call of duty. I’m so glad I chose KAM this is the best service I have ever had.”

Mr B was able to do his job on Tuesday and when the new part arrived the next day Dan fitted it without any fuss to have the van back as good as new.

KAM team updates

With the great weather we have been having, now more than ever is the time to have a fully functioning car. For those trips out or special Jubilee parties to attend to, you must make sure that you make the most of the weather by ensuring that your car is in the best shape it can be. Whether you are having a long weekend or just relaxing at home now is the best time to get your car fixed at great prices.

Here at KAM we have been very busy as more and more customers come in to have their cars checked. Sometimes all it takes is a quick check by our talented mechanics and you can be enjoying the open road in no time. With the upcoming Jubilee celebrations and the long weekend to look forward to, you don’t want to be inconvenienced by a faulty car.

Talking of the Jubilee, I hope everyone has a great few days off to get rested and rejuvenated. The Queen’s Jubilee is a special time to celebrate the Queen and I know I will be relaxing and enjoying the weekend with Mandy and the kids. We are the quite the royalists and will very much be basking in the royal glow that will proceed next week. There will be street parties and plenty of food to be consumed, so let the good times roll.

Here at KAM we are dedicated to making our customers our number one priority. For this reason the boys at our Sawley and Heanor depots will be working hard on bank holiday Monday to get rid of those pesky gremlins. We will be open from 9am to 3pm to accommodate our customers. We appreciate that the bank holiday weekend may be the perfect time for some people to get their cars fixed as they enjoy a lazy weekend at home. So if your car is suffering and you have been waiting for the right time to fix it- well the time is now and ‘His Highness Raj’ at Heanor and ‘Senator Shaun’ at Sawley await your call.

Our boys at the other KAM depots will have the bank holiday to get rested so they can prepare for our Jubilee opening. All the KAM depots are open on the Queen’s Jubilee day so if your car is suffering from any problems make sure to bring it in as soon as possible. Our team will get straight to work and you can continue to enjoy the festivities.

I would also like to point out that with the sudden soaring temperatures, comes the increasing need for air conditioning. We all know the feeling of being locked in a hot car with no working air conditioning. It can be torture and an open window can only cool you down so much. As car experts we know what is best for you and your car and we can very easily carry out a check to ensure that your car is in good working order. We can carry out the test as you wait and this will help us to identify any and all problems. Our magical mechanics can then get straight to work, whether it be a simple lubrication or removing bacteria, make sure you don’t suffer at the hands of a dreaded summer gremlins. Now is the most important time for air con and we want you to remain cool, the whole summer through.  For the best prices on all air conditioning make sure to call in at your nearest depot to ensure that summer is a breeze.

Our Beeston depot is continuing to do well, manned by our very own Super Sunny and Fearless Frank. The depot on Queens Road East, Nottingham has had an influx of customers and our loyal customer base is growing each day. Our customers have left us great feedback and the residents of Nottingham have heeded the call of the KAM team to take on all the dreaded gremlins that feast on their cars. We welcome all makes and models and so if you are in the area and want a fast, affordable service on all car repairs make sure to come down to KAM Beeston.

For a limited time the KAM team at Beeston is offering a number of money saving deals for all of our customers. So if you need your tyres, brakes or most importantly the air conditioning checking make sure to come down to KAM for total piece of mind. KAM Beeston offers the lowest prices on all car repairs and your trusted KAM team will ensure the longevity of your car.

I would also like to announce that my twitter presence has become more prominent recently and I have had a lot of great feedback from customers who are happy with KAM’s great service. Mr H's Cabriolet Confusion

This week at KAM we received a visit from a good friend of mine who arrived at our Beeston depot in quite a state. “Kev you know I always trust you and your boys and I have got a new puzzle for you to solve.”

Mr H explained that the car in question his recently purchased Audi A6 Cabriolet had one small problem that he knew about before he bought the car. “I know it sounds silly Kev but I actually bought the car much cheaper and there was but one imperfection on this beauty.” He said pointing to his pristine Blue car, which appeared to be far from the gremlin riddled cars we usually see trudging through our workshops. “Kev the electric hood is not working on the car. I knew this when I first bought it and it wasn’t a problem because the weather was awful anyway. But now the sun has recently sprouted out and I am roasting in there. My girlfriend wants to enjoy the sun in my new car and we just can’t. Please say you can help.” We assured Mr H that he was in good hands and that our Beeston boys were raring and ready to go on all diagnostic machines. They have spent the last few weeks introducing new customers and have had time to flex their ever-expanding skills.

Mr H was confident that our talented Beeston team would solve the problem and that he would be enjoying the wind in his hair in no time. We took all of his details and we then whisked him away in one of our courtesy cars. It was then time to choose this week’s master diagnostician and all eyes fell on Diagnostic Dan. Dan has long been a staple of KAM’s diagnosis team and has continued to increase our winning record of mysteries solved. He and the team at KAM Beeston have taken on all mysteries with passion and vigour and our new customers have been very pleased.

Dan got straight to work, armed with his multimetres and his diagnostic machines and started on his gremlin-hunting mission. He first made some visual observations and then started to hook the machines up to the car to try and identify the problem. We awaited the results and a short while later the paper was released and Dan’s eyes scanned the results. “The Beeston team has done it again.” It so transpired that the wiring that goes to the electric hood control module had quite simply corroded away which meant no power to the motors. This had been the reason for the hood’s inability to work and would require a simple procedure to reverse the problem. All that was required was to replace the affected wiring and Dan used his excellent technical skills to ensure that all wiring was fitted correctly so that no future problems would ensue.

The repairs were undertaken and now it was the moment of truth and all the boys waited with baited breath. Dan jumped in the front seat and turned the key, the car purred along nicely and then Dan flipped the hood switch. There was a short pause and then the hood started to descend in all its glory and revealed Dan’s smiling face, then the real test came, having got the roof open would it shut again?? Of course it would, with a quick press of the switch the roof quietly ascended back into place again. “We did it Kev, the kings of Beeston are victorious once more.”  The car was returned to its previous glory and the sun beat down on the newly fixed and newly cleaned car.

Mr H was ecstatic to have his car fixed by the Beeston dream team and couldn’t wait to start basking in the sunny weather with his top down. “Wow Kev thank you I knew I could rely on the KAM team. You give the best prices; the best service and you have guaranteed me a great summer. Thanks.”

For a limited time the KAM team at Beeston is offering a number of money saving deals for all of our customers. So if you need your brakes, batteries or alternator checking make sure to come down to KAM for total piece of mind.

Mr G finds the light

Hello faithful readers our Beeston depot is officially open and the boys have got off to a flying start. We are seeing more and more customers come through the doors and the boys are being kept busy with all the new challenges that arrive. I myself have been helping out down there but am happy to report that Super Sunny is doing an excellent job along with Fearless Frank and all the new boys that have joined the KAM team. Our new ramps continue to hoist up cars and our winning record for finding and fixing faults continues.

Our new customers have also been enjoying our new facilities and the comfortable sofas have already become a favourite with waiting customers and our mechanics at Beeston are on hand to take on any gremlins that may besiege your car and as always you can expect high standards at the lowest prices.

For a limited time the KAM team at Beeston is offering a number of money saving deals for all of our customers. So if you need your brakes, batteries or alternator checking make sure to come down to KAM for total piece of mind. At KAM Beeston we are also in possession of one of the most state of the art wheel alignment centres in the Midlands and we can offer you HALF PRICE on all wheel alignments. We also offer a free health check to all customers and all tests have no obligations so you can choose the work that is undertaken on your car.

But don’t just take our word for it, our customers have been very vocal in their support for KAM Beeston and this week was no different. A few days after the grand opening of Beeston, we received a visit from Mr G, who had read about the new depot and was eager to see what the fuss was about. “Kev I have read all about you and I thought I would put you to the test.” Mr G was sceptical about garages having spent a lot of money and with no solution being found. We welcomed him into the reception and as he took on a seat on the sofa and sipped from a cup of hot coffee he regaled the recent problems he had faced. His car a Toyota Landcruiser had been displaying the ABS light intermittently for quite a while and Mr G was concerned especially after another garage had supposedly ‘fixed it’. “Kev I have taken it to other garages and have had 4 ABS sensors fitted and the problem still exists. Please say you can help.” Mr G was desperate to find the cause of the problem and so we assured him that the KAM team would find the problem.

After all the details were taken Mr G was whisked away in one of our courtesy cars and we got straight to work. “I’ll take it Kev.” said the familiar voice of ‘Big Ben’. Ben immediately plugged the car up to our new, state of the art machines at Beeston and awaited the results. But a short while later he was to be disappointed as they did not point to any faults. Next in the diagnosis process would be a reversion to old school mechanics and armed with his multi-metre and probes Ben got to work checking the wiring of the car. He stripped the back seats of the car and checked the continuity of the wires. After a short time of prodding and poking the famous words rang through the workshop. “I’ve got it Kev.”

It so transpired that part of the wiring loom had burnt out. The wiring loom goes towards the ABS and so this had been the reason for the sporadic appearance of the light. Thankfully the damage had been minimal and all that was needed was a new section of wiring loom. The new part arrived after a quick call to our fantastic suppliers and Ben fitted it meticulously making sure to ensure that no further faults would occur. The car could now need to be tested. As Ben started the car, one by one the dashboard lights went out. “We did it Kev, the light is gone. This car is back on the fast lane.”

When Mr G arrived later he was very happy to have his car back to it’s best. Wow thanks Kev, the service you provide is excellent and KAM Beeston is surly going to be a big success.”

KAM Beeston Editorial

Large workshop: More than £100,000 has been invested in new equipment including five ramps.

Hello faithful reader we were lucky enough to be in this week's Nottingham Post's Motoring section with a great editorial about our new Beeston branch here it is, happy reading:

KAM's new state- of- the- art garage opens in Beeston

KAM Servicing has continued to expand their business with the recent opening of a new depot in Beeston.
The new site was unveiled on May 8th and the KAM team are looking forward to rolling up their shutters to take on new motoring challenges.
KAM Servicing has been a staple in the motoring trade for over 30 years and has seen its business develop increasingly over the years. From one garage, KAM has strongly built up its portfolio to 7 workshops around Nottingham and Derbyshire. They have seen off the recession and in doing so have been able to bring their quality services to more and more customers, while maintaining an excellent reputation. The addition of the Beeston depot shows the strength of the company and the demand for high quality car repairs.
The new site on Queens Road East, Beeston, is ready and waiting to take on all makes and models of cars. The last lick of paint has been applied, the signs have been raised and the shutters have already welcomed an influx of new customers.
There have been 5, state of the art ramps installed into the large workshop. These will ensure that all cars can be given equal attention and there will be no long waiting periods. There is also a stylish waiting room for customers to enjoy while their cars are being repaired. Here customers will be able to relax on comfortable leather sofas, enjoy watching the plasma television and indulge in a hot beverage from the state of the art vending machine.
Over £100,000 has been invested into new equipment. Manager Kev Allen says: “Whenever we open a new garage we only use the best equipment to make sure that all diagnostic work is fast and efficient. Our customers are our first priority and we hope they recognize our commitment to providing the best services.”
The new equipment means that KAM Beeston will be able to provide a high quality MOT service.     One way to guarantee long lasting repairs is by hiring fully trained and dedicated staff to take on all major and minor faults. One of the many new faces of the Beeston depot will be ‘Tornado Tyler’. Having started as a fledgling apprentice, Tyler has proven to be one of KAM’s brightest stars. He says: “Working for KAM has been fantastic as they have helped me to become a great mechanic and I feel very happy to be a part of KAM’s continuing success.”
‘Super Sunny’ from the successful Belper depot will be transferring to Beeston to take the reins. He says: “It is great to see KAM expanding and we look forward to seeing where the future takes us.”
Sunny will be managing the site with the help of KAM favourite ‘Fearless Frank’, who has been an integral part of the company for many years. He says: “With all my years in this business I have a good idea of what people look for when they bring their cars in. They want a high quality service, good customer service skills, great prices and a smile. Here at KAM we give the customers what they want.”
The Beeston branch is located on 122 Queens Road East, Beeston Nottingham. The depot will be open every day except Sundays. If you are experiencing any car problems call the depot on 0115 678 111.

It is also important to keep your car levels topped up and so the KAM team will top them up as you wait in our comfy waiting room and sample the delights of our coffee machine. Other services include half price wheel alignment and FREE battery and alternator checks. We will also be offering half price fault code reading, FREE suspension, steering checks and a full health check for your car. A FREE courtesy car can also be yours while we undertake the repairs so that you are not caused too much inconvenience.
Our staff at Beeston are fully trained in all areas of mechanics and with all of our top of the line tools and equipment we are ready to take on all gremlins. The workshops at our Beeston depot are fully equipped with state of the art diagnostic equipment. We have scoured the country to find the best machines and so we cannot wait to get down to the diagnosis process, should you decide to come through our doors. We have a great record in diagnosing problems and we hope to continue our winning record by ensuring that all cars are fixed to the highest standard.
Our prices are unbeatable and we pride ourselves on having the best prices in the Midlands. We here at KAM Beeston will make sure that you are not left with a large bill and mounting costs and will only consider undertaking work with your permission. We will devise a bespoke plan of action for all repairs and so you will not be disappointed with our services. We work hard to put our customers first and we look forward to meeting you.
I would also like to take this opportunity to introduce a new member of the team. We will be seeing more over the coming weeks and it will be interesting to see if any of them can challenge Dan for KAM’s resident ‘mechanical wizard’. First is ‘Tornado Tyla’, he was an apprentice at KAM and now is a fully-fledged member of the team. He will be on hand to take on all mysteries but is a qualified tyre and exhaust specialist and so I predict a lot of success from him.
There will be more of the team introduced in time but there will also be help from some old favourites. Our very own Diagnostic Dan will be on hand to help out with any diagnostic mysteries and will be hoping to impart some of his wisdom to our new team. Senator Shaun will also be overseeing some quality control and will ensure that the garage runs smoothly for the first few weeks.  I will also be there- so if you would like to come down and visit we look forward to your call.
Remember faithful reader, our team of dedicated and hard working staff at the branches in Sutton, Long Eaton, Bulwell and Belper along with our bodywork shop are open every day of the week, EXCLUDING Sunday’s, while the lads at our Sawley and Heanor workshops are at your service seven days a week, keeping your car where it belongs. ON THE ROAD.
So until next week faithful reader, drive safely and keep it shiny side up.
Dr.Kev.

New KAM depot opens in Beeston

KAM Servicing is to add to its ever expanding business by opening a new depot in the heart of Beeston. After months of preparation and long hours spent cleaning up and installing new equipment, the latest addition to the KAM team is nearly ready. The Beeston depot will open from Tuesday May 8th.
Over the last few weeks the team has been hard at work polishing and painting to get the new site ready for all the gremlin hunting missions to come. Like KAM’s other garages the Beeston depot will be available to take care on all your motoring needs and will be introducing some new mechanical wizards to the team The staff at the new depot is hoping that customers will recognise KAM’s fantastic reputation within the motoring industry and urge the residents of Beeston and the surrounding areas to come and test them out.
The popular manager and newsletter favourite Dr Kev said he was happy to hear the buzz surrounding the opening. He said: “We have been successful in the motoring arena and the whole team is looking forward to meeting new customers and taking on new motoring challenges. We all know the bad reputation some garages have given us mechanics but here at KAM we want to dispel those myths and are happy to bring you a high standard of service at the lowest prices.”
There will be some familiar faces, as Super Sunny and Fearless Frank will be leaving the successful Belper depot to take the reigns of the Beeston branch. There will be 6 new, fully trained members of staff joining the team and so this means no long waiting periods and each customer getting that personal touch sometimes lost at the bigger corporations.
Sunny and Frank are looking forward to the adventures that will surely follow the grand opening and Frank says all new customers will be more than satisfied with the Beeston team’s work. He continued: “We are very happy to be opening in Beeston and welcoming all of our new customers. Our talented technicians are ready and waiting to take on all makes and models and will not rest till the fault is found.”
Here at KAM we provide ourselves on being up to date on all the latest advancements in vehicle repair technology. We are very happy to say that our Beeston depot is stocked with state of the art diagnostic machines and all the tools needed to take on even the biggest diagnostic mystery. We are also offering a great price on MOTs, at £29.99 and we have new automated test lanes to take on all sizes of cars. We are also able to offer original equipment, for all cars, at a fraction of the price of other garages thanks to our long standing relationship with our fantastic suppliers. Even cars covered by a manufacturer’s warranty can be serviced in our workshops without the warranty being affected.     Here at KAM our customers are our main priority and so we have invested in new courtesy cars for our customers to take home. You will no longer need to be stranded or your day disrupted by the loss of a car. Here at KAM Beeston we have all the corners covered and you can drive away in one of our new Hyundais for the duration of the repairs.
Super Sunny said he was very excited for the opening: “I would encourage people to come down to the depot if they are experiencing any car problems. We can’t wait to get more cars back on the fast track.”
The Beeston branch is located on 122 Queens Road East, Beeston Nottingham. The depot will be open every day except Sundays.

KAM Updates- Beeston depot to open

Hello faithful readers i would just like to give you an update on all the latest developments at KAM. As you may or may not know, the KAM team are expanding once again and will be adding Beeston to the list of areas occupied by KAM Servicing. We have been lucky enough to acquire some prime land in the heart of Beeston and cannot wait to welcome new customers and new cars through the doors. Our new address is 122 Queens Road,East Beeston and the garage will be run by our very talented technician Superman Sunny. For now there is no official opening date but the boys are working hard to get the walls painted and the latest in diagnostic equipment installed.
I myself was down at Beeston just this past bank holiday Monday with my family. My wife Mandy and children Josh and Natasha were on hand to help with painting of the front office and I must say they were quite the decorators. The office is coming along and the place feels invigorated with a new lick of paint. It is now time to install our state of the art equipment and yours truly is over seeing all the work (as well as doing the heavy lifting).
Elsewhere the other depots are doing well in the face of the current economic climate. Our loyal customers continue to bring in their gremlin ridden cars and our dedicated mechanics relish the opportunity to take on a new mystery. So if you have any problems with your car make sure to call in at your nearest depot or go to www.kamservicng.com for all the details of our many depots.
Till next time faithful readers

Dr Kev
