Canaan Trust Sleep Out 2013

 

KAM are very proud sponsors of the Canaan Trust charity in Long Eaton. We were heavily involved in their fundraising last year in their successful bed push events.

The events raised a lot of money and we were very happy to be able to help out this great homeless charity. This year we are gearing up again for another big event in the Canaan Trust calendar- the Canaan Trust Big Sleep Out 2013.

It will take place on Market Place, Long Eaton on 19^th April and all sleepers are welcome. Those taking part will be the Mayor Mayor Jennifer Cull and MP Jessica Lee as well as our very own KAM Team.

Amazing Antony and Super Sara will be participating in the event from 8pm to 7am and all of KAM is getting on board to donate and sponsor as much as we can. d we hope you will join in by sponsoring them.

For those who do not know the Canaan Trust is an independent charity that provides vital help for homeless men aged 16-54. They provide a safe haven for people who have fallen on hard times and help them to rebuild their lives.

They are based in Long Eaton and help the homeless in the whole of Erewash- Nottingham and Derby.
As a company that was founded in Long Eaton here at KAM we are choose projects that we know will benefit our community. This is why we have partnered with the Canaan Trust to sponsor this year’s Sleep Out.

We want to raise awareness of the plight of the homeless and we hope you will join us. You can donate as little as £1 in the donation buckets in all of our depots. You can also go online and donate at our Just Giving page at www.justgiving.com/kamservicing

We can make a real difference and help those in our community who have lost everything.  

The Canaan Trust undertakes great work, giving each person the attention they need and help in all areas including housing and education. But they do need our help to provide these fantastic services...

KAM Beeston

 

Windows Up:
Diagnostic Dan is hard at work at our Beeston depot.
This Volkwagen Golf was bought in by Mr G who complained that the windows were beginning to jam and were not going up and down with ease.
Diagnostic Dan put his powers of wizardry to the test and was able to diagnose the problem within minutes.
All that was required was a new window regulator and the car will soon be back on the ...

road!!

Hello faithful readers as you know we are the proud sponsors of the deadlift challenge at 4th Dimension Gym.

Well the long awaited results are in for the Kam Servicing section of the Deadlift Challenge held at the fantastic new MMA gym  4th Dimension MMA Nottingham.. above ESP cars on Wilsthorpe road.

 There was a great turnout from the KAM boys, young and old & some very good results.

 1st Tasmanian Trev Birch. Wt 79k Max lift 225k X2.85obml

 2nd Sargent Shaun Marriott. Wt 87k Max lift 245k X2.82obml

 3rd Senator Shaun Huxley-Duggan Wt 88k Max lift 210k X2.40obml

 4th Desperate Dan Smedley Wt 70k Max lift 170k X2.36obml

 5th Tornado Tyla Cross Wt 68k Max lift 150k X2.11obml.

Congratulations to Tasmanian Trev for winning overall with a massive X2.85 body mass lift.

Senator Shaun who's monster 245k lift was not only the best lift from KAM but the best lift of anyone in the competition including the 4th Dimension lifters. Awesome showing Shaun.

There will be another deadlift competition in the autumn. So we're looking for some improvement on theses figures boys.
