It
has been a great summer for sport and it came to a dramatic close with the
Paralympics. It has been great to see all the inspiring men and women take part
in the games. The games have made stars of Jessica Ennis, Mo Farah, Ellie
Simmonds and many others who have made the nation proud. It has been a real
treat to behold all the fantastic events from these brave men and women and I
for one am going to have slight Olympic withdrawal. With the summer quickly
descending it will not be long till the leaves are falling and the fireworks
are ascending.
But here
at KAM we would like to take a moment to warn you about a common problem that
can surface after a particularly hot summer. With the soaring temperatures this
past summer, this can have adverse affects on your car and especially on your
battery. Here at KAM we want to keep you safe and so we would like to keep you
informed on what to look out for and the potential effects if the problem
persists.
Don’t get caught out this winter with a faulty battery… Here at KAM we
are here to cater to all your motoring needs and we want to ensure that you
keep safe in the coming seasons.
Many people are unaware that in fact summer is the season in which many
car battery problems can start. The extreme summer weather can cause the
battery life to shorten and can cause many other problems within your car.
Contrary to popular belief it is the heat and not the cold
that causes major battery problems. Excessive heat and overcharging are the
main reasons for the battery cutting out and this can damage the internals of
the battery.
If your
car breaks down unexpectedly this can be a great inconvenience and can also be
highly dangerous. With the upcoming winter and possible extreme weather
conditions to ensue, having a faulty battery would make your car very unsafe to
drive. Do not worry though; let KAM help you out by supplying low price
batteries for all makes and models of car. We will find the right battery to
suit your car and your budget and we can guarantee longevity.
