Mr G's 'A Class' Service

Hello faithful readers it has been another busy week at KAM as we help to get your cars back on the road. Our recently opened Beeston depot is doing well as more and more customers take advantage of our great services and low prices. Here at KAM we have many offers and we want to save you money. From exhaust checks to topping up levels, here at KAM we have all the corners covered.

I would also like to take a minute to reach out to the travellers among you who will be embarking out onto the open road in a motor home or camper van this summer. As a camper van man myself I like nothing more then hopping in and taking Mandy and the kids out for the summer to far off lands. It is a British tradition and one many of our readers will no doubt be experiencing this summer. But before you go on that much needed holiday make sure to get your motor home or camper van checked. Here at KAM we have the space and equipment needed to take on most makes and models of car and we will give your motor home a thorough check.

We want to keep you safe and that means making sure that your motor home is fault free and ready to go. Our talented mechanics are specialists in motor home repair and so all you need to worry about is who is going to get the big bed.  We will ensure that your motor home passes its MOT and we can undertake all repairs, big and small. So don’t let those pesky gremlins ruin your holiday come down to KAM now for the most comprehensive motor home repairs at unbeatable prices.

We would like to announce that we have recently introduced an emergency hotline for those of our customers who feel the wrath of the gremlins outside of office hours. The number is 07966320662 and it was on this number that I received a call from Mr G who was beside himself with worry over his Mercedes A Class. Mr G had returned home and after parking up had realised that his main beam light remained on even after the engine had been switched off. After some playing around with the switch he was none the wiser and so he needed the KAM team’s help.

It was 8pm but here at KAM we never rest until our customers are satisfied. “Kev I’m certain the battery will go dead by morning and I’ll have even more problems to deal with. Please say you can help.” Mr G needed a car for the next morning so that he could go to an important meeting. With his car already experiencing problems he did not want to become embroiled with more gremlins in the morning. “I’m sorry it’s late but this is an emergency.” With this cry for help it was up to the KAM team to come to the rescue. Diagnostic Dan loaded up the ‘twuck wid da fwashin lights’ with a courtesy car for Mr G and returned back to the garage with the broken down car.

We got to work on it the next morning and after stripping back the steering wheel and deactivating the air bag we were able to easily locate the fault. It so transpired that the light switch mountings, which attach to the steering column, had broken and had in turn made the switch fail to turn the lights off.  All that was needed was to rethread the switch mountings and a new switch was fitted after quick delivery from our fantastic suppliers. Dan tested the car and the switch was fixed.

Later Mr G came back to the garage to pick his car up. He was very happy to have his car fixed and was especially happy with KAM’s all hours’ service. “Wow Kev, KAM really do care about the customers, I’ve never seen such commitment from a garage before. You really do go above and beyond.”
