Second Charity Bed Push for the KAM team

KAM Servicing is very happy to be sponsoring The Canaan Trust and will again be embarking on a charity bed push.

The bed will push off on Saturday 11^th August from Beeston Town Square and will be launched by the mayor of Broxtowe Councillor Margaret Handley. It will again end its journey in Long Eaton and we hope to see you out and about in support of this great cause.

The Canaan Trust will be raising awareness of the growing problem of homelessness in Erewash. The trust provides vital help to the homeless and is continuing to raise the £125,000 needed to keep them running each year.

The trusted Canaan Trust volunteers will be out in force with their collection buckets so if you see them out please donate generously.

KAM Servicing is very happy to be providing the support vehicles for the bed push so that their money raising voyage goes without any hitches.

Here at KAM we are very happy to be involved in community projects and we want to help put the problem of homelessness to bed.

The last bed push was a great success and we want to make this one even bigger and better!!

KAM teams up with the Canaan Trust for Charity Bed Push

KAM Servicing are very happy to be teaming up with the Canaan Trust charity in Long Eaton to help raise awareness and much needed funds.

The Canaan Trust has been established since 1995 and provides great assistance and help in the community for homeless people. They cover a vast area of Nottingham and their wonderful work is helping to get people off the street and into homes and employment.

On Saturday 28th July the Canaan Trust will be embarking on a Bed push to raise awareness and to raise vital funds. The bed push will start from Market Square in Ilkeston and will make its way through Stapleford and Sandiacre to finish at the War Memorial in Long Eaton.

KAM Servicing are very happy to be able to provide the transport for the push and our trusted KAM van will be accompanying the bed. The van will follow the entire route and Canaan’s trusted volunteers will also be out in force with collection buckets.

So make sure to come down and support us along the way and donate to this great cause. Every pound counts and the Canaan Trust need £125,000 to keep their operations running every year. So to help out go to their website or look out for us on Saturday.

Canaan Trust manager Kevin Curtis said: “We just want people to know that homelessness is not just a city problem but it is going on right here on our doorstop and its getting worse.
“We don’t want people to turn their backs, these people need their support. We want to help these unfortunate homeless people get back into society and we want to help them to lead independent lives. 
“We have been very grateful for the support from everyone, especially from KAM Servicing." 

The Bed push will start at 10 o clock and the Mayor of Erewash Counsellor Jennifer Hulls will be present for the launch of the push. Hopefully the weather will hold out till the weekend and it will be a great time to come out and support this great cause. We look forward to seeing you there.
